Specifically you will...
• Develop and manage the PR strategy for Asia
• Be accountable for the design, implementation and ongoing management of the PR strategy across all channels
• Be the face of the brand and act as spokesperson for any press queries
• Develop and implement PR campaigns from inception through to analysis and ensure all campaigns are integrated into the overall acquisition and retention strategy for the Asian brand
• Develop and manage all key messages, copy and creative solutions
• Design and deliver all press releases
• Work with marketing and BI teams to ensure all activity is monitored, tracked and evaluated in order to monitor ROI
• Be responsible for delivering clear, concise and reliable reporting on effectiveness to all stakeholders
• Ensure that all activity delivered is consistent within the brand guidelines for the Asian brand
• Maintain full awareness and understanding of legislations for relevant media channels
• Ensure all media and marketing activity is approved by in-house legal teams
• Keep up to date with Asia regulatory laws
What you need...
• Significant years of experience in the PR/marketing/media space, agency or client-side, in the Asia region
• Fluency in Chinese-Mandarin and English
• College degree, MBA preferred
• International corporate background with the ability to adapt to different cultures
• A personable and presentable character – at times there will be a requirement to be on camera
• Ability to communicate exceptionally on a global scope
• A comprehensive network of PR contacts and the ability to establish new ones in the Asia region
• Previous experience and in depth knowledge of PR best practice, as well as evidence of direct responsibility for PR planning and execution
• A keen interest, passion and understanding of traditional media and online techniques including social media (blogs, forums etc.)
• Experience in directly managing and working with specialist PR agencies
